Job Description – Assc. Director, Client Engagement

We sell clinical data, dataZOEK™, ClinicalPath, and services.

 

Current clients include Pharma, Biotechs, Data Aggregators, CRO’s, Distributors, GPO’s, Academic Institutions, and Consulting Firms.

Position Description

The Assc. Director of Client Engagement will have responsibility for data and ClinicalPath sales to Pharma supporting a Sr. Client Executive on saleSEER designated strategic accounts. Specific responsibilities will include:

 

  • Working closely with the Sr. Client Executive to meet sales and service targets that are established for a select number of strategic accounts.

  • ·At the direction of the Sr. Client Executive, support lead generation, lead qualification, proposal development, contract negotiation, closing of contracts, and closed contract servicing for data and pathway sales.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with the Sr. Client Executive to ensure excellent client and collegial relations.

  • Assisting in the development of analytic based client deliverables as needed to support client requests.

  • In collaboration with the Sr. Client Executive, aligning on client’s strategic business objectives and present saleSEER data assets that support client requirements.

  • Development of a full understanding of Oncology Clinical Pathways, their influence in Oncology treatment, and specifically ClinicalPath Pathways’ value proposition for Pharma.

  • Initiation, development, and maintenance of strong customer relationships built upon trust and exceptional customer service.

  • Sales management including timely administration and reporting of all sales activity in SugarCRM.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Required experience and attributes:

  • Successful track record of direct sales preferably to pharma, clinical research organizations, data aggregators, academic, IDN, and/or healthcare practices

  • 5 years sales experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets through prospecting new clients and successfully bringing the client through the sale cycle to closure

  • Strong history of successful relationship management with clients leading to incremental sales

  • Healthcare industry business acumen required

  • Technical and/or clinical data knowledge strongly preferred

  • Oncology knowledge and experience is preferred but not required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Works well in a team, exhibits professionalism and flexibility in all interactions

  • Must possess a strong desire to provide the exceptional customer service

  • Ability to travel as necessary

  • Minimum of a 4-year college degree required

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
